We have the opportunity to contribute to the food production needed to feed the growing world population. In order for this to happen, it is vital that it is produced in a sustainable way. It means supporting our customers in reducing their environmental footprint, while improving food production, profitability, and the well-being of the people and animals involved. This will be vital for us for generations to come. In other words, we need to produce more with less.
We are Dairy farmers and have been since 1901. We want the best in milk quality, we research, we carefully choose all raw materials, we make our own dairy supplies in our own factories.

There is an ever-increasing demand for food to the extent that we don’t know how to produce enough food for the globe in a couple of decades.
We need to innovate.
We need to introduce new practices and be much more productive in balancing that sustainability if we are going to succeed in providing food for this world.
It needs to start with food safety and then when you have safe food, you can go to the next level which is ensuring consistent quality.
You can’t optimize profitability without taking care of animal welfare.
You can’t disregard the environment and then be completely socially responsible, so it is a balance between those four aspects.
Focusing on those four aspects helps us analyze, measure, and drive forward.
When it comes to animal welfare it really starts with raising the animals in the best possible way from the very beginning; having healthy calves gives healthier heifers and productive cows. Through the lifecycle of the animal, trying to have that as long as possible, so you really have the biggest contribution to the sustainability improvements.
The very practical products or our assortment are around animal welfare. One of the most important products is the product that’s in direct contact with the cow in milking and that’s the liners. Our clover liner is improving the yield and at the same time being gentler with the cow during milking.
We have a whole system of suggestions for the farmer to deploy to improve their sustainable profile.
