Career Opportunities
STORE OPERATIONS
Our network of Bridgestone Select stores and Bridgestone Service Centres spans across Australia and New Zealand, offering roles including Store Managers and Assistant Store Managers, Service Managers, Counter Sales, Mechanics, Fleet Service Technicians and Tyre Technicians. At our stores, we help customers with their tyre needs, and sell and fit tyres for a range of uses.
WAREHOUSING
Our warehouses are the key to providing an effective distribution system to our stores. As an important link in the supply chain, our warehouses help us to provide exceptional service to our customers.
Our warehouse teams perform a range of functions, from warehousing and logistics to stock management, despatch, and distribution. In our warehouses, we have many roles including Warehouse Manager, Supervisor, Leading Hand, Store person and Despatch Clerk.
TECHNICAL
Our technical field service team provide after-market sales, product development, technical support and training to help implement and improve tyre programs across the country. As technical experts, our team have formal qualifications in Engineering or a similar discipline.
Roles in our technical team include Managers, Supervisors, Technical Engineers and Graduate Engineers.
SALES AND SUPPORT
Our sales and support team helps us deliver outstanding customer service across our Sales, Retail Operations and Network Development business units.
We have a range of roles in sales and support, including:
Regional Franchise Managers, Regional Training Managers and Regional Operations Managers, who provide ongoing sales and business support to our store network
Account Managers, who are responsible for achieving all sales related objectives for products across the network
Business Development team members, who secure business and support our customers on their journey with Bridgestone
Customer Service Consultants who work as a team in our Call Centre facilitating the timely and efficient provision of products across the network and our customers.
RETREAD
Our Bandag and retread factories use the latest technology to provide dependable, cost-effective and environmentally friendly tyres for commercial business use. Our factories around New Zealand retread tyres providing a reliable solution for truck fleet customers.
Our Bandag and retread teams have a range of factory-based roles from the factory floor to quality assurance and management, working together to ensure quality and safety.
CORPORATE
Our head office provides overall support to each part of our business and holds responsibility for corporate governance. Serving the New Zealand market, our head office provides opportunities in a range of areas such as national sales, support and technical roles, health, safety and environment, HR, finance and accounting, marketing, property, logistics and IT.
Bridgestone provides ongoing training and development for all employees, however, if you’re just starting out in your career, there are structured programs in which you can earn a qualification while you work – no experience required!
TYRE FITTING TRAINEESHIPS
Bridgestone offers entry-level traineeships in Tyre Fitting, including full-time permanent employment and above award wages whilst providing training in a Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology.
Additionally, Bridgestone has partnered with the Department of Education, Skills and Employment nationally in the Youth Jobs PaTH placement program offering paid, part-time internships of between 4 -12 weeks.
MECHANICAL APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAM
Introduced in July 2021, the Bridgestone Mechanical Apprenticeship Program was developed to recruit and train mechanics to work across the Bridgestone and Lube Mobile businesses (in-store and mobile).
