You\u2019ll learn how to proactively maintain a huge variety of cutting-edge technology from pumps and valves through to multi-million dollar assets.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll also gain exposure to site utilities including boilers and water treatment plants, and\u00a0get to learn about planning work, shut down maintenance, and assist with troubleshooting and breakdowns \u2013 there\u2019s plenty of variety here!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    What is it like<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
    \n

    Four year journey & each year is different as your knowledge, skills & experience grow with broad exposure across one of our manufacturing sites<\/p>\n

      \n
    • First year is about laying the foundations to your success with fulltime supervision & guidance while working on simple tasks<\/li>\n
    • Year two has an increasing levels of independence with increasing levels of complexity<\/li>\n
    • In your third year you are largely independent, completing maintenance tasks on our wide variety of assets across site<\/li>\n
    • In the fourth year an apprentice is gaining the depth experience & exposure required to be fully qualified<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Who are we looking for?<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n
      \n
        \n
      • 16 years old to apply (min)<\/li>\n
      • NCEA Level 2 Maths and English or relevant NZQA Level 3 Certificate<\/li>\n
      • Experience working well with others (e.g. work, sports teams, volunteering, clubs and groups)<\/li>\n
      • Being able to quickly learn and pick up new information<\/li>\n
      • A great communicator who isn\u2019t scared of numbers<\/li>\n
      • A great attitude, motivated and a true passion in your chosen field<\/li>\n
