There will be a requirement for some travel to our Sites around New Zealand.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This position will see you support ANZCOs energy efficiency and decarbonisation projects across the business while supporting ANZCOs site engineering teams.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties and Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Provide support to create and present an energy savings program at ANZCO Foods Canterbury that can be rolled out across all sites<br \/>\n\u2022 Create an energy use baseline considering process and product variations across the ANZCO processing sites<br \/>\n\u2022 Identify Energy savings and decarbonisation opportunities<br \/>\n\u2022 Lead or provide support to implement the agreed workplan with the view to achieve 50% of the identified energy savings or decarbonisations opportunities<br \/>\n\u2022 Provide practical support across business units to reduce energy use and reporting performance aligned with the Triple M project<br \/>\n\u2022 Undertake energy and decarbonisation related projects.<br \/>\n\u2022 Audit ANZCOs energy use and energy sources.<br \/>\n\u2022 Assist to develop accurate carbon reporting and identify initiatives to reduce ANZCOs carbon footprint.<br \/>\n\u2022 Attend regular climate change and sustainability\/energy related meetings.<br \/>\n\u2022 Contribute to communication and awareness to highlight the need for energy conservation and carbon management.<br \/>\n\u2022 Make recommendations on proposed next steps on energy savings against baseline.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills and Experience we are looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Bachelor&#8217;s degree in mechanical engineering, energy management or similar<br \/>\n\u2022 Intermediate computing and application skills<br \/>\n\u2022 Passion for the climate change and sustainability and supporting ANZCO to make a positive difference to the environment<br \/>\n\u2022 Experience and practical understanding of the energy field<\/p>\n<p><strong>About ANZCO Foods<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>ANZCO Foods is one of New Zealand&#8217;s largest exporters employing a team of 3,000 staff worldwide.
