This role is responsible for enhancing the residents\u2019 well-being inclusive of their physical, psychological, social and spiritual qualities, to facilitate self-determination, capacity and resilience, as well as improve social engagement and quality of life for the resident.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities may include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Providing a wide range of personal care services to residents<\/li>\n<li>Supervise daily hygiene \u2013 showers or baths, shaving, cutting nails; lay out clothes and assist in dressing; make beds and tidy rooms; store clothes and clean wardrobes<\/li>\n<li>Assist and support residents with medication utilising medication compliance aids; simple wound dressing, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with meals and feeding<\/li>\n<li>Recognise, report and respond appropriately to changes in condition of residents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and Experience&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent qualification<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in aged or community care<\/li>\n<li>Current First Aid Certificate<\/li>\n<li>Flu Vaccination<\/li>\n<li>Certified in Medication Administration<\/li>\n<li>Great organisation and time management skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits &amp; culture<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As an organisation we celebrate our diversity and welcome all people regardless of lifestyle choices, ethnicity, faith, sexual orientation and gender identity.
