Trust us, you won\u2019t regret it!<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>Interview Transcript<\/h2>\n<p><em>I learned a lot of thing about this job, so it&#8217;s really great for me because I like it so I can learn more and more.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Hello, I&#8217;m Lusila Kalolo and I&#8217;m working for Alsco Uniform as a production team leader coordinator.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Alsco is the textiles rental service and they also has a consumable.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>They sell first aid supply, sanitiser supply, just anything with the cleaning in term of the consumable with the business.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>But the main part of Alsco is the uniform and textiles.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I started at Alsco in 2019 and I worked production for two years and then I was promoted as a production team leader coordinator in a flat working area in July for 2021.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>So it&#8217;s getting some more responsibility for me and what duty I was doing, which is has great because it&#8217;s a push all of career pushes and help for me as well.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>So I learned a lot of different way at the business and different information and different like a lot of things that I learned from Alsco.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>So it&#8217;s really responsibility for me to work here so I can learn more about this company. So it&#8217;s great.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>What I do on the day-to-day basically is that every morning I start at 7:00, come in the morning, have a meeting with the team, just give them updates, what&#8217;s happening the day before and what are we going to do for today&#8217;s pack out and stuff like that and give them about updates with the health.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>They say make sure if there any discomfort from from people or any ask the team if they&#8217;re OK and then after meeting and just quickly exercise, just probably like 5 minute exercise with the team.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Just stretch their body before they go on the machine.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>As well I&#8217;m just helping with the team about the back help and day by day I learned like different stuff is great for me as well.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>It&#8217;s great for the team that they be here to work.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>I learned a lot of thing about this job, so it&#8217;s really great for me because I like it so I can learn more and more about this.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The second is my favourite part of the job is to with the people, to work with the people, talk with the people, to make people happy, like make me happy as well.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>So that like my favourite parts come in of this job.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>And the other thing is my production manager is the great guy to work with because he&#8217;s always put a smile in my face and everyone&#8217;s face.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Even our branch manager is our good person as well to work with.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>So it&#8217;s great to work with those kind of people so that like make you to like come to work every day and to make like you look forward to come to work because of those kind of people that make you happier work.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>My advice was someone there looking to work at Alsco uniform. I think it&#8217;s a lot even the people in our head office, they were work start.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>They work from the laundry as well.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>So look at the beginning where we are with Alsco. It&#8217;s so different.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>It takes so many people.
