What Does a Tyre Fitter Do?

As a Trainee Tyre Technician at Bridgestone, you’ll work closely with experienced tyre fitters, assisting in the fitting, inflation, and balancing of both passenger and four-wheel drive tyres.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Learn and understand essential procedures, from vehicle isolation to wheel torquing, all under the guidance of a certified Tyre Fitter (Certificate II).
  • Providing top-notch customer service and ensuring operational efficiency are key aspects of this role.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are returned to their designated place and fitting bays are kept clean and tidy.
  • Gather an understanding of and assist with maintaining 3S principles and standards.
  • Comply with HSE instructions and policies and adhere to and comply with all safety procedures.
  • Use and maintain safety devices and personal protective equipment correctly.
