The Opportunity

This paid, full-time traineeship combines practical on the job training with on-going career development and mentoring.

Your Traineeship journey will begin in the Service Desk. This customer focused team is the perfect training ground to help you build the fundamental skills every Technology professional needs – customer service, service management, communication, problem solving, adaptability and growth mindset. You’ll become part of a team that guide our valued clients through first level technical support.

As your expertise grows, we’ll help you better understand your strengths and refine your goals. Helping to set you up for success as you navigate the next phase of the programme – specialisation!

Specialisation is where you can start to direct your skill set and your career. This might mean Cyber, Networks, Project Management, Software Development….the options are endless!

In addition to ongoing training and development you’ll also have the opportunity to apply for the Datacom Career Shapers Scholarship!

The Datacom Scholarship is awarded by application and will cover a Higher Education qualification at a registered training organisation. This qualification will help you build a transferable skillset in an area like Networks, Cyber, Development.
