About the business and the role

A 100% Australian owned and operated Company, Thomas Foods International’s (TFI) mission is to be the most sought after supplier of Australian lamb meat and processing co-products. With ‘total reliability’ in our quality branded meat products and meat processing infrastructure, we aim to satisfy our customers across 80 countries. Due to production requirements, TFI are currently seeking entry level employees to fill a number of positions within our Lobethal Plant.

Job tasks and responsibilities

We are looking for entry-level employees to fill a range of full-time roles in multiple areas of the business. Production operates from Monday to Friday, averaging 40 rostered production hours per week over a 5 day week and aiming in the near future to go to a 6-day x 10-hour rotating roster from Monday to Saturday. We offer excellent working conditions and remuneration in according with our current Enterprise Agreement.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

Packing
Trimming
Slaughter floor labouring
Chiller pushers
Loading
Sortation
Carton room operators
Stockyards

On the job training will be provided.

Skills and experience

Applicants will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical check including drug and alcohol screening, as part of the recruitment process.
