The opportunity!

Reporting to the Production Manager, this is a hands-on role glass processing role working in a team to ensure safe, efficient and effective operations of various plant equipment.

• Day and afternoon shifts
• Overtime paid at time and a half!
• Highbrook location

What you’re there to do:

• Glass processing to specifications
• Safe manual handling of glass
• Loading and unloading methods
• Adhering to production targets
• Participating and contributing to site safety

Skills & experience you’ll bring:

• At least 1 year experience working in glass manufacturing in the building industry
• Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies, being able to analyse and solve problems
• Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing terms such as DIFOT is advantageous
• Operating machines at full efficiency
• Mechanical aptitude and approach to problem solving
• Good attention to detail, positive attitude and ability to follow instructions
• Effective communication
• Physical fitness is required as some manual lifting is involved
• Dedicated safety focus
