The opportunity!

Reporting to the Production Manager, this is a computer driven, hands-on glass processing role working in a team to ensure safe, efficient and effective operations of various plant equipment.

The role will suit someone savvy with the computer as you will be running our Alpa and Vertmax machinery.

The shift time is 6am – 2.30pm Monday through to Friday. Minimum 40 hours per week.

The rate will be $25 – $30.00 per hour depending on experience.

  • Glass processing to specifications
  • Safe manual handling of glass
  • Loading and unloading methods
  • Adhering to production targets
  • Participating and contributing to site safety

Skills & experience you’ll bring:

  • At least 3 month’s experience working in window glass manufacturing or in the construction industry
  • Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies, being able to analyse and solve problems
  • Operating machines at full efficiency
  • Mechanical aptitude and approach to problem solving
  • Good attention to detail, positive attitude and ability to follow instructions
  • Effective communication
  • Physical fitness is required as some manual lifting is involved
  • Dedicated safety focus
  • To be considered for this role you will be known for your willingness to learn and be motivated by achieving a zero-harm environment
